'Pickle The Elf' has been sent to the stable by Santa.

She has a very important message to deliver to the reindeer.As she breaks open the red wax seal on the letter, she reads aloud, in her best voice, (and trying to not get her words 'in a pickle')..."My dearest friends...I am sorry to tell you that we have an emergency.I need you to come to Christmas Cottage at 11.00 o'clock sharp, today."

The story focuses on a little reindeer called Rusty.

Set in the North Pole, (where all great Christmas stories are featured), we join Rusty and his friends as they undertake their very important mission to save Christmas.

Featuring the traditional Festive characters of Santa and Mother Claus, elves and reindeer, we also meet Maximus the Snowy Owl and the Snow Dragon along the way.

The images in the story are vibrant and traditional, encouraging the reader to lose themselves in their imagination.If the book is being read to a young child, they will be able to follow along with the story.

For the early readers themselves, it will help them to develop their own literacy skills, whilst enjoying the text supportive images.The story (of course!) has a happy ending, and focuses on positive human qualities, and self-acceptance."We may be different, but we all have an important part to play".
